Am laughing how in every other game, the commentators make note of how hard it is in game 1 to run it out, bar in our game.

Makes you think about how the AFL has really compromised the fixture

so funny at half time or 3/4 time of pies crows game where the panel were all asked if they think OR will have an impact on the rest of the game.

Jack Riewoldt "nah not at all" (the guy who would cry about anything and everything)
Kingy *inaudible * but mostly just fence sitting

Then Collingwood start making a comeback deep into the 4th and you hear them tripping over each other to go oh well gee it may have an impact, Pies certainly look fresher...

Never heard a whole commentator box sigh with relief when frees are paid against Collingwood

I have to say that North Melbourne look good today, I've always had a soft spot for them so I hope they improve this year.

You do realise that is the commentator's job, right? Even if we all know it is bullshit he still has to try and keep the viewers interested.

Carr would have been pretty high on my list as a replacement JL coach. Early days for him, and I know he is not actually 'gettable', but interested to see how his career pans out.
