Was considering going over to Perth for the final round but with the result meaningless, I have no confidence we won't put the cue in the rack.
Been over a couple of years ago and wouldn't really get to do much sightseeing as it would be a late Friday night flight there and early flight back on the Sunday. Looking at around 600 return from Melbourne. Can get cheaper flights to NZ.
Oh come on Melbourne. Please. A last second loss to the Bulldogs would be glorious.

Damn, why did the bottom 9 teams wait till round 22 to start getting really, really competitive. How much better could've the season been with a few more performances like what's happened across the weekend.

If the bottom 9 had played better (including us), we most probably would've scraped together enough wins to make the 8.
It’ll be a low-intensity game, that’s for sure.
But still, Optus in the evening is a great place to watch footy.
Jeez just when you thought the Crows were looking like the only team you could trust, they have the eagles give them the business for a half. I'm sure they'll come out after a spray and still win by 50, but yeah the climb to the top doesn't really look that far.
All the top team 9 tops look quite vulnerable at times, all have an obvious weakness that looks more exploitable than what top tier sides used to have. Geelong are going to win the flag by default of their finals experience aren't they?

Injuries have always mattered in the world of sport but it feels like especially this year, when the 27th-30th player is playing on your list it is an uphill battle for that team. Talent thinning out for sure.
