do you think he will stay or go? he should at least be traded if he leaves - what do you think his worth is? 3rd pick? maybe 4th?

Worth another year if we can cut enough before the deadline. Needs to put on size like everyone else at Carlton.

i thought last year he showed alot of potential as being the 3rd tall, and was suprised when the defence was falling apart this year he couldnt pull a game - why was he not considered all year, do you know?

Heard it was because of lack of dedication and training.

I think he should be kept for another year as he has a lot of talent and there are qutie a few otehrs who deserve to be cut before him.

I'm not too sure the club took kindly to his off-field antics including the apartment incident and the small disturbance outside the nightclub. After giving him a chance during the Angwin incident last year, I think Pagan and the club feel a little let down. That's just my opinion though.

his name will be thrown around for a few trades, very unlikely to be at carlton in 2006 unless we don't draft or trade for any talls.
has talent but there are ??? over his dedication.

I doubt he'll be traded. I don't see how another club would want him if we're prepared to get rid of him. He might find a new home through the PSD draft if we delist him, but i doubt teams would trade national draft picks for him. We have enough picks as it is anyway.

i'd be reasonably happy if the tigers took a punt on a 1 year contract with him. could be a replacement for M.Graham, and A.Kellaway long term. Sometimes being moved on is enough of a kick in the bum to motivate players.

Definitely has talent to be a G - VG 3rd tall defender though

Norman should be given another year. He never had the grooming of other players coming through the TAC system. At TAC level they monitor your fitness, preparation alot more than they ever would playing in the bush. For example after a TAC cup game they give the players gatorade, fruit and salad sandwiches. In bush footy they will give you a pie and a can of VB. The environment he came from is different to other draftees. He has talent. We need to persist.

He should be given another year. He has played up a bit I know but we can ill-afford to lose a player of his ability level. He is potentially a much better player than Thornton and Livingston but potential only gets you so far. I really hope he stays and plays CHB next year as he can chop up most forwards in the comp when his mind allows him to.

1. Glen Bowyer retired.
2. David Clarke delisted.

Officially so far.

Was always going to happen

I am happy that experience is over with David Clarke. 1 less untalented player who cant kick on the list.

I too have been super impressed with this guy in the past. However, having spent plenty of time watching him in the VFL this year I have serious doubts about his ability to read the play. He does have athleticism, and skill, but these are wasted talents on a backman who is easily beaten by things like a simple double lead (1st one dummy). He does not and will not have the body to play on bigger guys because as we saw with bradshaw last year in brisbane they take him to the goal square and flog him. Which leaves him playing on the third tall - a small and niche market really. Personally, I think that is Thornton's long term gig anyway, as he isnt big enough or athletic enough to hold down a key position. Norman was tried occasionally forward this year in the VFL but can't mark overhead, and can't mark on a lead.

Which all leaves him nowhere really. Stay/go - irrelevant. He won't make it. I feel sorry for the guy, because he actually looked to me like he was really having a crack this year.
