Discussion North Melbourne's home jumper going forward

Gil and half the clubs apparently because they insist on doing it even when it's not a club colour.
It was actually Demetriou who kept the whole white shorts away rule a "tradition" (maybe the keep North happy given he played for them). Under Gil we've seen Geelong and North start to wear white shorts at home.

Are you serious?

To keep North happy? The maggot tried to relocate our club to the Gold Coast...

Don't talk s**t about something you know nothing about.

It'd be so easy for me to hurl crap at your team about the whole Power/Magpies thing but I'm a genuine poster not on here to upset people or throw the toys out of the pram because another team has a new look.

White shorts/blue shorts, blue kit/white kit, whilst I'm passionate about my club and also graphic design, they've chosen to take this path and it obviously has it's reasons do to so. Some decisions our club has made may seem a bit strange or out of the blue (pardon the pun), but I respect that. There's no harm in trying new things.

North cop more crap on BigFooty than any other club (membership numbers, stadium deals, attendances, chasing premierships, playing finals footy, changing logos, trying new things with our apparel, etc.). But no matter what we do, there's always going to be a group canning us for being the club it is.

Actually, I'll retract my "not on here to upset people" comment. Next time you're down at The Port Club or the Prince of Wales, walk in and look around. Some of Port's revenue comes from sucking money dollar by dollar from those chasing a win on the pokies. More often than not these people can't afford to be sitting at these machines.

I have so much respect for my club in distancing itself from betting companies, pokies machines and casinos, which are 3 things putting money into your club's pocket. But that's absolutely none of my business and not something for me to comment on, however, as I've been following this thread there's only so much trash you can read and this reply is well over due.

I love you.

Pettiness and a lack of problem solving from both sides here to blame. North add a little more width to the stripes, and the AFL give a little bit, we can keep tradition and what is really a ripping jumper. In fact, north's white/blue wouldn't be a pain against anyone except west coast or western Bulldogs. But you have to question the thought process that leads to thinking shorts are more sacred than the jumper.
