Been a pathetic game to watch. Just goes to show when you consistency is interupted by injurie can have an effect. However, I thought some of the body language from a few of the players was pretty poor, didnt look too desperate. win some you lose some, but has been worst the game this year.

Nah the pies are a good side and will be alot better when Swan, Maxwell and Caracella get back. Same as us when we get Moloney, Mclean, Miller, Sylvia, Wheatley and N.Brown.

Thanks for that :p

Seriously? We weren't trying hard enough against the Dees and they seemed to have answers for everything we were doing. Poor performance by the Pies, but we should be hungry next week and will fire.

Yeah agreed, as i said it wasnt the best effort we have seen, but prehaps it was the lost that we were meant to have, sort of wake us up a bit, definitly gives us the incentive to go into the sydney game looking to win.

Richards and Holland would have been handy too. Melbourne do play well at this time of the year though, so time will tell whether the wheels fall off yet again in July/August as they have in the last couple of years. Somehow I get the feeling that if Collingwood get to play Melbourne again later in the year, then the result will be reversed.

You seem a bit cocky there.

You barrack for Brisbane, you should understand how last week's match smacked Collingwood around. Be fair please. It was probably the toughest match of any this season, and not being able to rotate the interchange hurt us today. The players that didn't get a chance to sit on the bench last week were exhausted before today's game began.

I also don't think that there is that much between Collingwood and Melbourne, and the Demons have showed that they have trouble seeing the season out, while our training facilities gives us more chance to do that. I remember the 7 matches in a row that Melbourne lost last season after they beat us in Round 12 and reached 2nd spot, and four of those losses were of margins of 87, 74, 62, and 54 points. In 2004 they lost their last five after reaching top spot.

Things can turn quick, and yes, I feel confident that if we have a go at Melbourne later this season, then I'd be confident of a win. We didn't turn up to play today at all, yet still kicked 14 goals.

Well it was bad for the lions too, we did not win (but we had a good crack!) we lost Charman and Brown for this week and for the past 2 matches we have had 1 day less to prepare.

If someone sed to me, would u like collingwood to be 8-3 after 11 rounds, I would say yes straight away. Everyone loses. We arnt the best! And all this crap about not being good enough that i read in other threads. Pull ur heads in. Absolute crap. We are good enough, and we have proven it in the first half of the year. Just a bad day today.
