Not Trolling...Just a pleasant observation

I went to the game at the G yesterday and was very happy that my Hawkers got over the line. Was a great game for us and looks like we are on the verge of something special (with a bit of luck).

Just one pleasing aspect of the game was the Essendon supporters. I must admit that I have run in to my fair share of idiot supporters from all clubs (yes even Hawk supporters). But a number of the Bomber supporters yesterday were actually praising Hawthorn's good play rather than hurling abuse as what mostly happens when frustration kicks in. It might have been luck of the draw but I had a few Bombers supporters around me and actually had a great convo with a few of them. Well done to your supporters for showing grace in defeat. It was a breath of fresh air.

And for what its worth, I reckon your list has the talent to go places but I feel that listening to the same voice and thoughts from your coach may be running thin. Your next coach should have a good list to work with though so its not all doom and gloom.

LOL. Yes mate I hear ya. But all jokes aside, there were a stack of Bomber supporters around and they were brilliant. Also respected that their were kids around and were biting their tongues from swearing when things werent going well.

Easy big fella. If you read the posts above it proves my point. I once thought Essendon supporters were as illogical and irrational as Carlton and Collingwood however they have made me eat humble pie.

I think Essendon supporters are fairly humble these days because we haven't had much cause for celebration the last couple of years.

Hawthorn looked amazing though. Your current group has a bright future. I'm tipping you'll have a fantastic year next year.
