Note: This is not a thread to air your views on left/right politics, vaccination mandates or conspiracies, this is a thread to discuss Djokovic and the Australian Open saga only. Humour is accepted and encouraged :D Abuse is not.
Thanks.

Super Tottenham....from the Lane.
He's suing for $6 million, including prize earnings... like he was going to win the whole thing? He hasn't learned a thing. Keep the three year ban intact.

Plus it's a massive slap in the face to this country given he must know that the Australian taxpayer will be funding it.

The guy is a pig.

In my opinion this is Djokovic related.
Apparently not. Serbia caved in to months-long protests and unrest funded and encouraged by the usual Western fronts for regime change, according to the Serb president:

Woke up to news that casts more doubt in validity of Novax's tests.
Hmmmmm
#*%# tosser.
BBC research has cast doubt on the timing of the positive Covid test Novak Djokovic used to enter Australia to try to compete in the Australian Open.
It was provided to exempt him from rules barring unvaccinated people.
However, the serial number on his test on 16 December appears out of sequence with a sample of tests from Serbia over this period gathered by the BBC.
It is also higher than for his second (negative) test result from six days later.

Why wouldn’t you edit the serial number when editing the date

Doubt they’ll “prove” it and he’ll no doubt find some flunkey to throw under the bus but what are ITF penalties for falsifying medical records? Thousand dollar fine and four Hail Marys?

Should be booted off the tour if proven.

Ending career in disgrace for this is what should happen.
No doubt thought uninformed sheeples would not notice. ;)

Imagine if this were Rafa or Fed or our Ash?
No, you can't because it is unthinkable for a true sportsperson to act in this way.

No, this is something that puts him up there with Lance Armstrong.
Where talent gets spoiled with sheer greed; force of will overtakes any moral obligation.
Come to think of it, the Novax deniers are a lot like Lance fans were.

He’s way way WAY too Godlike in Serbia to suffer any long term repercussions, eventually he’ll become emperor over there and it will all ‘disappear’
I reckon he’s taken a big hit to his reputation and ego though around the tennis world and that will smart.
Is it enough 🤷‍♀️? Meh who knows.

Was there civil unrest after he got the ass? I remember that dweeb representing him stating the minister didn’t consider this happening

I think the serial number thing was raised in that German article when the test result was flickering between positive and negative. Good to see it go mainstream in the English speaking world I guess

The ID number inconsistency was raised probably 2 weeks ago on BF.

A Serbian health ministry official has already stated that the Djokovic positive test is legitimate - link

Having said that, there is so much Serbian national pride on the line, and both the Serbian president and prime minister have put their blind and unwavering support behind Djokovic, so it would not be surprising if the official was made to falsely claim the positive test is legit. It is unimaginable to us what the national shame would be like if the test was faked and this came to light. An equivalency would be Bradman found out to be a drug cheat or something.

Reading the BBC report through,
It is hard to think otherwise now.
