I want us to bounce back for this game and prove to the doomsayers that Richmond are not gone. Now that Browny is gone the notion that our season has ended is an occuring theme on the main board, would like to win for the team to understand that Browny as valuable as he is, is not needed to win the game and to stick it up the ********ers on the main boards.

We had a mediocre game against Melbourne, we might have another one against West Coast. Heck we might have another 5-6 mediocre games.

But one things for sure, we won't have 14 in a row, and that's 100% improvement on last year. I don't give a fat rat's clacker what the doomsayers think. Most of them are the Blues, Bombers, Pies and Hawks supporters who are languishing.

This is the first year of our rebuilding stage, we have a long way to go so lets wait and then we can rise as one.

all the same sante, given the start to the year we've had, i feel we'd allbe entitled to feel rightly p_issed if we fail to capitalise and make the finals...fire blanks when we get there, maybe ...all part of the journey...you just don't waste 7-3 starts to the season

If we don't win another game by round 15, then yes, we won't make it... but if we win 2-3 of those, and beat a couple of the more fancied teams along the way, then I still think we could win at least one game of the finals... but then again, it really depends on who and where we play this final. Still a tad early to say/predict anything... development of the younger guys could come along a lot better than we currently think too, and we also can't dismiss the "Do it for Brownie" factor now either. The season is up in the air, and with results going all over the place, it could just be possible to fall into the finals and still have a decent crack at winning a few!

I seriously doubt that we are grand finalists, but the what-if's and maybe's are still there and will continue to tell the story for a while yet.

We've got 10 out of the next 12 games in melb. We're still in with a big chance. Stay positive guys!!!

Hell yes! I think we should beat Adelaide after watching their performance this afternoon, not sure about the Kangas.

Don't get me wrong, I still have very high hopes for the club. I re-iterate as I've said in past threads that I still don't think we'll slide as we have in the past. Honestly I don't think there's any scope for our overall result to disappoint me this year because we are going to make the finals! Does anyone really care where in the top 8 we finish? I don't think I do. Anything higher than 8th is a bonus.

The boys have done really well this year, and I have so much confidence that they just won't let it slide. Maybe it's a matter of the matches against Adelaide and the Kangas giving an indication of how well we will do in the finals.

In all reality, I'm probably jumping the gun, I'm just so excited! Isn't it great to still have confidence in the side despite Brownie going down?! Looks like he'll be back next year too which is great news.
