Hodge would be in my top 3 in the league.

Love him, hard at it, inspirational, cut down on his stupidity (mostly) and very skilled overhead and on both sides of the body.

Gibbs has eclipsed all of them except for maybe Riewoldt. Gibbs will better than all of them next year when Riewoldt's injury and age slow him down and Brycey steps up.

Haha, so you think Gibbs is already better than Hodge and Cooney? And Reiwoldt will be too old next year? Gibbs will be a good player, but some of you Carlton supporters really are delusional

Gibbs has had a better year than Hodge and Cooney, who are one-dimensional players. Gibbs has also had the consistency, Cooney has dropped off and Hodge has lots of bad games. Riewoldt will be entering the twilight for a CHF on the Telstra Dome surface. His body has already taken lots of hits and he looked gone earlier this season. Next year the injuries will be even more telling, while Gibbs will only get stronger over the pre-season.

You're letting your bias get in the way of your rational thought, there's no way Gibbs has had a better year than Hodge and Cooney. He's had a very good second year, and in time he may well catch these players, but at the moment he's a fair way behind. Hodge and Cooney are up there with the best players in the league, Gibbs isn't there yet.

Also, Reiwoldt is only 25 and has been very good late in the season. He's got a few years yet before he is past it.

lol

Carlton fans:rolleyes:

Riewoldt has easily been the best performed of these players. Something like 4-5 AA's and 4 B&F's . Hodge may be as good now but has been nowhere near as good over their careers.
