If its been worded that Crows are a no go for NWM and he does decide he wants to go back home to SA at the end of season then it won't matter what Port have to trade in picks. Doesn't haven to be Bergs especially if he decides to stay on. Saints have no choice regardless of those suggesting threats of delisting for PSD where he might get picked up else where. Won't happen. If it's just that he wants to get to SA and both clubs are available to offer trades then that's different but if its only Port and for legitimate reasons then again, saints have no choice and could lose out on the trade. fingers crossed that Bergs decides to stay in SA and with the lads around him and NWM comes across. That's a win win and potential contending team for the flag next season if some other pieces sorted out and team is fit and healthy. Would be one of the youngest sides in the league aswell and IMO far better than Crows. They have a good forward line primarily just Thilthorpe who makes them good.a

Caro also said Butters and Rozee as well as JHF and Jase Burgoyne have put their case to him. Kane pounced on that, suggesting that was a good sign Butters is staying. Caro said Port have told him he isn't leaving. They will match any offer put to him.

Carr has also been all over NWM. Also mentioned that NWM has raised the point that the crows chose not to draft him when they had the chance.

While some crows supporters keep blaming Port for this getting out, Caro repeatedly said this is what NWM has been saying to St Kilda team mates and colleagues. Both Port and St Kilda knew of his thinking, but not Adelaide.

Tim Silvers basically said he didn't believe her story. She said he's wrong.

I feel for NWM, he's been caught up in the media's need for clickworthy stories.
