Good contribution there. You must be in that % range of deranged and talking about yourself. Congrats 👍

If you had a brain and actually used it regarding this, you'd realise that pick 1 alone is better than what GWS got for Jeremy Cameron in draft value by a few hundred points. What Saints do with that pick 1 is up to them if they choose to split or get future picks. But it's a smart move to cover all angles. I'm sure you could throw late round picks in to smooth it over too.

Perhaps you should stay on the Saints board where you appear to hang out.

Why would West Coast possibly do the deal?

Genuinely one of the worst trade proposals I’ve ever seen.

Turn the computer off mate.

Saints don’t even have a dedicated NWM thread, clearly don’t want him. He isn’t even here yet and we have 200 pages lmao.

As I said last time. Good contribution.

They may or may not do it. It was an opinion based on them having multiple good picks already and if they received pick 2 as compensation for Allen then having pick 1 on the table for this trade and them receiving 2 future 1st rounders would benefit them. This one year draft with all those picks they have currently isn't just going to magically make them a contending side especially in this draft. Where as 2026 apparently has a high end of talent from WA so Eagles having more picks in 2026 is a better option then this one. They already have a decent hand this one so again, getting pick 2 compo and looking at trading 1 for this situation to also receive future picks is a good option for them overall. Whether that's Port offering a 2026 1st and 3rd Round pick plus 2027 1st round for Eagles pick 1 and 2027 2nd rounder to assist port in that year's draft. I don't know. it's an idea. Again, Eagles currently have picks 1, 12, 19, 30, 48 if they get compo for Allen as pick 2... I can't see them using them this draft and instead trading out fle next years draft as there isn't any players they would trade for on the market at this stage.

And again, pick 1 is literally better in draft value to offer Saints then any of the known trades since, I.e. Jeremy Cameron example. Plus it prevents the national draft threat of Saints refusing it.

Sainter feels like a lost puppy who followed us home. Kinda cut, kinda annoying.
Just mind numbing stupidity and cope and Victorian cheerleading.

Impossible for Port to find the picks for NWM, but Hawthorn can get Butters no problem. and even Rowell the year after.

Painful stuff.

Really is stupid
. NAS is OOC. So the threat of psd is alway there. Also won’t need players to make the deal happen. I mean if it works it works, but it is not essential to getting the deal done.
Port Adelaide would not be making offers if they did not think they could get a deal done. Unfortunately as he is OOC, we will have to take he slightly less deal. We can say we want all these picks but at the end of the day we won’t wanna lose him for nothing. (Bailey smith deal)

Would you prefer Peatling and Cumming or NWM?
It was Perryman not Peatling we were chasing.

Well if its simply a question like that then NWM obviously. However we dont know what contract NWM will be on and what it actually will take to get him, e.g if we end up losing butters as a result then your question is not as cut and dried.

Crows have had a great year but they've had bugger all injuries a soft fixture and a lot of luck. I wouldn't be so sure of their success next year.
There are players that you look at and you think a team isn't going to be really good until there is someone better to replace him. Wayback for us that was Tom Logan. I loved the way he played but we only became good when he was surpassed for another player.

For the Crom Murphy is the one that comes to mind .... but I think it might be Keays for all the bluster about how much he's improved.

We also have to stop talking like they’re some sort of Geelong/Hawthorn/Brisbane dynasty juggernaut (I’ve seen people suggest somehow Mark Keane and Ben Keays are worth first round picks on the open market, the overrating of this team has gotten out of control)

They have 3 players who win matches for them Rankine, Dawson and Thilthorpe almost all the other contenders have just as many who are just as good

My wife and I were watching in the second quarter last Friday and I said watch this will only turn for the crows if those three get involved

What happened? Thilthorpe and Dawson kicked 4 of the next 5 goals

Imagine if one of them were injured before the finals :straining: I know I know, I'm going to hell.

I can't help but be nervous with Ports position with club officials sprouting they are confident of landing his signature, we said the same last year about the possible GWS recruits and got left with egg on our faces

We better not be asleep at the wheel thinking family history and mates makes us the obvious choice, Nick's and Crow players have already been proactive in getting in the ears of players they want selling the dream.

Results have shown desire and smart recruiting that they are in serious contention and us another wasted year just expecting it all to happen masking over cracks🤔
I am astounded at the inability of people to read and comprehend a basic sentence!

“I’m confident we’ll find a way” on having the assets to trade for NWM ..... Is some how turned into: I'm "confident of landing his signature"

it’s incredibly lame to not give credit where it’s due just because you don’t like a club.

Adelaide have definitely done well in the recruitment department which has made up for their diabolical drafting between 2016-2020.

Their form this year is probably superior to any of our top 4 sides over the last 5 years. They could absolutely win it.

That said, I agree that that things change, and they may not be the same side next year. But that can be said for any club.

Well why are you going to hell? literally every other team in the league has had more injuries to key players than they have (except maybe Collingwood)

It’s going to come as some stage just whether that’s this year or not is the question
