it’s incredibly lame to not give credit where it’s due just because you don’t like a club.

Adelaide have definitely done well in the recruitment department which has made up for their diabolical drafting between 2016-2020.

Their form this year is probably superior to any of our top 4 sides over the last 5 years. They could absolutely win it.

That said, I agree that that things change, and they may not be the same side next year. But that can be said for any club.
What’s been their most impressive win?

Brisbane owned them in that last quarter just couldn’t kick straight so that doesn’t count

Hawks + Suns home/bulldogs away tbh that’s a bit meh

We are SANFL at best rn

It’s not like theyre beating Geelong, Brisbane or a Collingwood away at the moment

They’re good and in the mix but hardly some unstoppable machine that will crush a flag by the end of Q1 on GF day

FWIW - Kym Dillon just reported his ITK source on Kymbo and the Rooch (53mins in). His ITK believes Crows think they
will get NAS or if they don't get that deal done then they will go for Dyson Sharp. Rooch has an ITK saying NAS leaving
Saints is looking more likely.

Not saying their mail is right but its on topic.

You’ve labelled their good wins as meh just to suit your argument. They were good wins. Especially the gc one. I’d back them to beat Collingwood next week who seem to be tiring.

No one is saying they’re an unstoppable machine. But they are clearly one of the favourites. They’re downfall maybe playing against a Victorian club at the MCG

Exactly re VIC clubs away from AO but re my Meh comment

Hawthorn might not make the 8
Dogs might not make the 8
Suns despite a draw that Mr Whippy would be proud of will likely finish 5th

Like it’s good but it’s also a bit meh for some team that is apparently favourites for the flag by some margin around this board

No club in their right mind would want to slide down in one of the weakest and compromised drafts even with a future 1st rounder.
Rucci is ****ing horrendous. He only cares about pandering to the Adelaide crowd.
He still blabs on about how Port should trade Butters for draft picks in a weak draft and Bergman could still be a trade option.

I don't think he will be, the fact that the mail said NAS or Dyson Sharp gives me the impression they aren't in the box seat. Maybe they have reason to believe NAS has more of a chance of coming home now and believe they are in with a shot.

Apparently he’s in a group chat with Crom players that = trade request if you’re Kym Dillon
This whole group chats with Crows players is just reaching for straws 🤦 Aliir literally has a group chat with Leek Aleer and Mac Andrews, does that mean Port get those 2 or the other way around and Suns or GWS get the other 2?

How's it any different to saying Nasaih has actual conversations in person and hangs out with his best mates in Hornet and Burgoyne?

They are just doing what media outlets do or people wanting that 5 seconds of fame not caring if its factual or relevant.

Nasaih probably does talk to some players at Crows that he perhaps trained with before being drafted and/or perhaps he does speak to Wayne Milera. It's irrelevant. I highly.. HIGHLY doubt he is picking Crows to goto even if they are allegedly in a better position to contend for the premiership. In my honest opinion it would be close to 1% chance of him choosing the Crows.

Biggest beat up. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2025/07/31/nasiah-in-adelaide-group-chats-crows-defender-responds

If nasiah leaves im actually going to be worried about your mental health, and i dont even know who you are.

I will be perfectly fine. If he decides to leave, it is his choice--the club has done everything it can to make him happy. In the end, I had the same view when Battle left last year--if the player doesn't want to play for the club, then they can go. You should have the same view with Butters (as tough as it is).
