I clobbered two Yarrawonga supporters for heckling Barry Hall, I’d had a gut full. My unconditional support for Thomas was no different, although lacklustre on-field, he was still wearing the brown and gold. I had to headlock two supporters at Biralee park for abuse, one under each arm while sitting on another bloke. Their president actually thanked me, open bar for the remainder of the game as a gesture.

I was at raiders v rovers and do recall some chirping between rowdy spectators, can’t remember seeing any headlocks being dished out though

There were a couple of old fatties pissed as newts going at it puffing, panting, wheezing and red faced and an under 15's netballer stepped in and broke it up.

You might recall some Raiders spectators heckling Brodie, that’s when I stepped in, I had no choice. I busted straight through their quarter time huddle, if it wasn’t for a few close associate's dragging me out of there it would’ve been on.

Betts came in against a bottom side and brought 3000 spectators through the gate, you got a problem with that? Good exposer for the club kicking that goal from the shit house. What a luxury, to be plonked on a half forward flank in a top side with the best dual legged kick in country football driving the ball down your neck. I don’t think the IQ was there, couldn’t read the play. Could run all day though.

Yarrawonga to edge out the Saints in the Fevola Ablett cup. Lavington will defeat their poor cross town rivals in Na by 6-7 goals. Rovers to destroy Raiders by 180 points. Wangaratta by 7 goals over Wodonga. I think Darryns men end Alburys finals hopes, 6 goal win.

Gee that was one of the better grand finals I’ve witnessed from memory. North ran away with it in the end but I remember the Rovers pulling back a sizeable deficit to go into 3 Qtr time oranges only 4 points down. Simon McCormick was the chief destroyer that day with a bag playing through the guts. Haven’t seen too many performances like his that day in a Grand Final.

Robbie Walker won the Morris that year tried everything in his power to get the hawks back into the contest, but just wasn’t enough. Was to be his last game as well.

Reports coming out of Corowa are Cress locking the boys in the room and going ballistic. Also hearing of an alcohol ban imposed.
