Have been on Serenade Rose all spring but has come up too short now,so looking for some value.

Serenade Rose looks too strong in a two horse race. Although, if I were to back a dark horse (which I probably will, each way), I like Dark Mask.

Race 1
10 Maxerelle - Like her each way, Maxy never runs a bad race, is very honest and most importantly due for a win! Like it also in a box tri with Unabated, Freeroller and Sojustrememberthis.

Race 3
Fabiarna is highly rated yet hasn't done much, Holly Go Lightly didnt run that bad behind Astronomia at Caulfield. Think Ill be on H G L, but wouldnt suprise me to see Fabiarna get up. Trifecta 2,3/1,2,3,4/1,2,3,4,5!

Race 6
My very early Oaks tip Isanami (anyone explain why it got changed from Izanami? has been sht since the change) gave me a very small glimmer of hope last week. Know it will get the distance, but will she leave her charge too late? Got a tip for Empress Lilly, and the two favourites are right up there too. Lemon Bitters or Dai Ichi a show to grab a place. Isanami each way for me with a trifecta 1,3,4/1,2,3,4/1,2,3,4,9,10.

Race 7
Brockmans Lass is flying...all up on the nose.

Race 9
Tszyu is much better than formline suggests - has been in some real tough races. Each way.

I'm debating on whether to bet tomorrow or not. I feel still feel a bit overwhelmed ( and hungover) after the Cup.

But I'm off work, and I broke even on Cup day after a late punt on the Diva (at $4.20, cheers on-course bookies!.) I'm hoping this promised storm rolls in, does anyone else get an evil pleasure from watching the marquees get blown away?

The Greys race. Some of them looked pretty brown to me! Gotta love it.

I'm on Isanami too. I'm a bit concerned about Peter Mertens on board as he's not in the best form. I follow his rides pretty closely as my father-in-law backs him nearly every race he goes round. But he's a better jockey in staying races & has a good habit of bringing home outsiders at odds when he's firing.

Maybe she should have been in the previous race! She can run 1800m out no problem.

I'm up for the day now so I'll have a spec on Always Flying in the next and Fifeshire in the last.

I'm spewing about the run Steven King had on Megadeal. I placed a parlay bet on Megadeal into Serenade Rose into Brockman's Lass. It would have paid around $20 too.

Would have loved to be @ Flemington today but it's a bit hard me living in Perth
I put all my bets on pre -sell last night as worked today.Backed all of them each way,so I'm happy but the All Up would have produced a nice collect!
I hope someone followed the lead & did just that

I had a top day . I picked 3 which was actually one less then Cup day but the prices were so much better.
My 2 best were
Kammora in R5 paying $6.50
and Proprietor paying a wopping $19.60
That more then made up for what I lost on Astronomia.
