Running around and Harvest Dawn starts playing, the nostalgia hit is amazing.

I've just seen screen shots of the updated adoring fan. Will definitely be disposing of.

My download speed finally hit 170mbps so hopefully by the time I shower and poop it's ready to go.

I'm on a 250mbps connection and the best I can get from Xbox Windows app at the moment is 64mbps when with Steam, Epic and even my Playstation will max my line speed. It has been this way for years but sometimes you can pause the download in Gamepass, go to Windows store and resume there and then notice you're getting full speed in Xbox app which means there must be some funky server prioritisation on the MS end.

I remember a few months ago asking for some help for a difficult quest on Borderlands and the person who answered the call was a gamer from America, who said that he will need to first download the game (50GB) and then he will help. I am thinking, like our internet in Australia, I might hear back in 3-4 hours.

I can definitely see why they recommend 32gb of RAM. I have 16 and in the cities when I exit a building it takes a couple of seconds for the game to fully render. It is still a beautiful game on my 3080 on high settings. It probably looks even better on a 40 or 50 series on ultra settings.

Been downloading since 7am and it's done 52gb and it tops out at 56mbps for like 10 seconds and goes to 3mbps.

Everything else downloads fine except this piece of crap console.

No games are suspended, everything closed and a wired connection.

Ever since I watch the announcement I've been set on playing an argonian.
They look so cool and randomising them is giving so many amazing looks

Now I just have to decide what class I make my argonians and worse yet, it's name

The truth is its just a graphics update.
They havent reworked the game from the ground up and improved the games levelling/perk system.
The controls and combat feel no different to Skyrim .

Last week started a Skyrim playthrough where I intentionally played a stealth archer but this time added illusion.

Wanted to use an argonian so looked up what their best build is.... Stealth archer plus illusion.

Just before leaving the sewer and choosing class I said "no, I'll make a custom one even if it's changing one thing". So I made a custom class and then realised I made exactly the Warrior class. Derp. I guess I'm definitely a warrior again.

Anyway, when the music kicks in when you leave the sewers

How good is going back to Vilverin for the first time. It's so pretty now. The last couple times I played (about 15 years ago) I'd skip the noobie dungeon just to get on with it but everything is feeling so new again.
