Ochre Guernseys

Bad news Boys and Girls...I have a feeling that we are going to be wearing the DB this weekend to avoid a clash with Richmond's Guernseys.

They didnt wear it against Richmond in the pre-season this year and it wasnt a noticeable clash so we might be lucky. Be nice to see them run out in the old premiership style guernseys they wore against Freo, that wouldnt even be close to a clash.

This is an email I received last week from Trevor Nisbett...who by the way will answer all your emails personally...in response to this question..

You can't get them out that easily.They will be used as a clash guernsey in the future.eg.When we play Richmond or Carlton
away.

Remember, Richmond were wearing their Tiger Scratch Guernseys during Wizard Cup, not the sash. And I felt that those guernseys REALLY were hard to tell apart from our blue white and yellow home ones.

I dont know how Richmond would clash with WC? They are mainly black...

They have a yellow sash, we have a yellow stripe, thats about the strength of the class as far as i am concerned.

Why don't the Eagles go back to the Navy and Gold jumpers from 98 for home jumpers, and go back to the Royal and Gold jumpers of 92/94 for away clashes?
