Swimming. Cricket is shit and boring  to watch, anyway. Playing beach or backyard cricket is fun.

Yeah, I don't really get those types of people who sit and watch an entire day's cricket on TV. Such a waste of a day. Give me a book, ABC grandstand, and a body of water to lie beside instead.

Have been waiting to play some golf as the local coarse has been mostly under water, and every time i have ventured out it is driving rains and wind.

Watch cricket, think about cricket, read about cricket, eat cricket and bath in cricket. Saffas are coming so its gonna be a cracking test series. Im a total tragic.

Really worried about my gut now that footy season is over. Not gonna play cricket this year cos bolwiing just srews up my body, and I cant bad for crud.

Need to keep fit. Hate the gym. Probably play social tennis and maybe touch rugby.

Will follow the Perth Glory too probably. I plan to personally heckle and dive in front of every Queensland Roar player at the season launch in a few weeks.

I really should start playing cricket again but I can't be arsed catching up as I haven't played it since I was 13.

I would love to play again as the camaraderie and mateship in a cricket club is second to none but the idea of devoting an entire Saturday (and some Sundays) every day for an entire summer in 30+ degree heat when I'm likely to be a number 11 who doesn't bowl in some 4th grade D-league just doesn't get the blood flowing.

I had this problem with heat when playing lawn bowls in my last couple of seasons i played. I just loved the game and the good company but starting at one in the afternoon till sometimes near six at night just drained me no end. As a post further up mentioned victory in the a league, i try to get to a few games and have hobbies as well.

What kind of "some 4th grade D-league" team doesn't give everyone a bowl? I play a really shit level of cricket and I think everyone in the team bowled at least 15 overs last season barring the wicketkeeper. Although I have seen teams in our comp bowl the same bloke for hours on end, a prominent ex-footy player being one of them, which is just stupid comsidering everyone is there for the enjoyment factor.

Playing in some 4th grade C-league team where the fat pommy captain won't stop throwing you the ball ftw.

I think it's only 20 degrees in Perth today. But after winter, it certainly feels a lot hotter. Remembering this, I'll probably sit under the fan, watch the cricket and soccer, and venture out for swims at 8am/6pm. When I do venture out, I'll have to wear an excess amount of zinc and still get burnt. WA summer sometimes sux.

Bro I get burnt in moon light. Summer heat is bawws and way over rated in Perth.

Lloydy?

They talked him up then had footage of him on the footy show - he looked absolute cack!!!

NBA for me, cant wait for a proper full season this time, every weekend ill just be watching League Pass until all the games are finished for that day, ive become a fanatic:thumbsu:

Then, there's pre-season footy training around nov/dec for my footy club. I watch tennis aussie open in jan. Not much other sports I'm into. Then AFL Nab cup in Feb :D

Come join us on the bball board mate. It's a laugh and full of great banter.

Time to follow European and North American sports and watch more movies, TV, play more video games - anything to avoid the heat.

I’m thinking about buying some clapped out old beast and spending my weekends on it. Probably an old Holden or maybe even a Chevy or something. Any suggestions? Starting point must be cheap.

Kingswoods or Falcons go alright and theres plenty around, with parts.
