Karate, boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Black belt karate (back when she was a kid) and her grandfather was an amateur boxer so she did a bit with him back in the day.

More recently it's been BJJ as that's my background. I introduced her to it and now we've got both our kids doing it and they love it.

It's all good. There's WAAAAY too much to go into on here, so I guess the short version is basically that we've grown apart and can no longer work as a team.

I adored my wife but it's been a grind for years just the same. In the end we just were not meant to be forever. It happens, the world still turns...

Thats exactly what happened to me and my ex, cept we werent married. Just fell out of love gradually. No big dramas or nothing.


Having said that, he's been driving me mental these past few months (via text msg) dunno if i can even be friends anymore.

It's OK, no need to go into detail, it's clear from all you've said. I'm really sorry, just think you deserve better in life + want you to be happy + loved. Your kids are amazing, so you + your wife have great success there.

Me - Us
I - Me

To say: "me and my ex" is not only bad grammar, it is ignorant + very rude :p

It is correct + proper English to say the other person first + you last :p

Thanks. Our kids are great. We told them yesterday; our son took it well, our daughter didn't. She was refusing to talk to us for an hour, but after processing it all she came out of her shell and is okay now.

As for the commenting, no, I was just working backwards from the end of the thread and working my way back up to your post. As I said in the PM: "No hard feelings." :thumbsu:

Was the hardest part of it all the fact you’ve been together so long that at first it felt like being apart was awful because you were so use to that lifestyle for a very long time
