Ross Aloisi talks a lot of shit at the best of times.

Crucial point and that match was actually far more exciting than Adelaide vs Melbourne on Sunday.

Or even Port v North

I am pumped for next week.

Looking forward to a sell out crowd and a steak burger.

Fox Sports commentators reckon Melbourne could still make the knockout stages
well look at it
Seognam 12 +7
Beijing 6 0
Kawasaki 3 -1
Melbourne 3 -6

this week
Melbourne vs Beijing, Melbourne with the homefield advantage, fresh legs and the desire to push through, so I'll tip a 3-1 victory
Seognam vs Kawasaki, Seognam is the better team, at home and can ensure 1st in the pool. So i'll tip Seognam in a 2-0 win

this will leave it at
Seognam 15 +9
Beijing 6 -2
Melbourne 6 -4
Kawasaki 3 -3

in the final match day
Melbourne travel to Seognam. What do Seognam have to fight for now?
they have 1st wrapped up. So I expect they'll play the #2 team to avoid any potential bans from 2 yellow cards in the knockout stage while Melbourne will come out to get through. Melbourne to win 3-0
Beijing vs Kawasaki. This game starts half an hour before the other game so Kawasaki will come out all guns firing hoping Melbourne lose. Beijing will fight it out to the end like Kawasaki, but I feel this will end in a 2-2 draw

final
Seognam 15 +6
Melbourne 9 -1
Beijing 7 -2
Kawasaki 4 -3

i'm thinking of going to the next united game, do people thinks its worth it?

(don't lay into me too much, I'm not what you'd call a true soccer fan..so i'm looking for a good game to have a few beers at)
definently
I'd give us a 60% chance of victory

and RL, my prediction from this weeks games were taking match day 5 into account, once Melbourne ****ed up vs Beijing, they weren't going to beat Seognam. But if they needed to win to make it then I would of backed my prediction

There is no way they would have won 3-0 mate. Seongnam were a class above, less possession in the first half yet 10 shots to 0 says a lot.
fair enough
i dont follow other asian leagues, but I thought Melbourne was equal to them, and take away the motivation factor, I thought there was a chance

but I have NFI about soccer beyond A-League, EPL, and FC United of Manchester (yes, that's who I support the most beyond Adelaide United)

I'm probably going. These Asian knockout games are a good way to start attending a few if you're not really up for going to the A League every second week across summer.

Once I'm earning enough, I'll likely become a Reds member - it's a little hard to add that on top of my annual fees for the AFC and SACA at the present.

Hindmarsh will be pumping for this one. Might get there early and secure a good position in the snakepit.

$5 Cider
$5 Cheapy Beers
$6 Good Beers
$6.50 Premix cans incl. Johnnie Walker

Any game at Hindmarsh is good to have a few drinks at.

any report on how their skin folds went yesterday?
would like to know how the team is going
anyone get down to Hindmarsh today to report on training?

What an amazing night. Shame it all has come to an end.

Hindmarsh craps all over AAMI for atmosphere
