nah mate, Dirk's a good selection, it's just that LeBron seemed like such a lock for #1

kinda like putting $100 on Nick Riewoldt for the Coleman when a fully-fit Matthew Lloyd's at the same odds. you're still getting a great player, but you you could have had a dead-cert

Yeah but I like bagging Lebronze so it wouldn't be as much fun having him on my team. Ditto Kobe.

Expected you to pick James, or Garnett a close second. Marion would've been the all-round smokey at #1, there being turnovers.

But Dirk was a surprise! Still, one heck of a player! ;)

I would've been happy with LBJ or KG. :D Now to wait until pick #23 :(

I was thinking to myself, hmm, I'd draft D-Wade in the first round. Since some prick beat me to it, seems I'm in a pickle. Which all rounder should I pick? Well, it comes down to two guys, really. In reality, it comes down to who the player has around them. James, Nowitzki and Wade don't have all that much. And neither does this man. Team (Walter) Herrmann is proud to introduce its pick at number 4, the man voted most likely to murder a team mate after a missed free throw...

Pick 7 and 8 are online and waiting, don't know about pick 6 though.

I'd say you are safe as houses to go out and get wasted and come back in at 7am :thumbsu:

pick 6 is a Freo supporter, so I don't reckon he'll be on tonight.

if he isn't, I'm free to pick at 7.47 tomorrow morning. however, I'm a sane person, and I will not be online at 7.47am on a Saturday morning :)

anyway, I have an idea to keep the draft moving. if you don't think you'll be online when your pick comes up, PM the person who has the pick after you and tell them ONE (or more if you'd like to give away your draft strategy :p) player that you'd like to select with your next pick

that way, the person who's effectively waiting for you to take your pick can do it for you and we can kill two birds with one stone.

if that player has already been selected by the time your pick comes up, then the 12 hour rule comes into effect, but I reckon we can get this done twice as quickly if we work together :thumbsu:

To be honest, I tossed up whether to get Kobe with the #4, but that was based on his scoring alone. His fantasy numbers don't come close to KG's, and as long as Mike James can tell Mike James to not act like Mike James and just be Mike James, then I should be fine.

Kobe is awesome though, give ya a bit in every category and alot in some.

Also got Ricky D at the TWolves so it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds out there.
