I'm not subscribing to the dropping Yakka is bad faction.

We're blooding the Egg-Man and Davies is still getting a gernse.

While we've got O'Bree and Lockyer, we might as well use them. Plus Yakka can have a full run in the guts for Willi. Make sure he doesn't forget how to find the pill.

I'd love to be in a position to have all of our exciting young players playing (all four or five of them), but it will have to wait a year or two.

You'd have to assume thats the main reason for him getting dropped. They may 'rotate' a few of the kids so they don't burn them out too quickly, because they wont last a full season in the ones full time.

im pretty surprised to see Yak out of the 22...wouldnt be surprised if there is a late change maybe....?

also surprised to see Fanning get a run, what is his form like at Willy? is he playing to try combat Knobel, Stafford (if fit), Simmonds ruck strength?

Would have liked to see the booch still in there, along with Heath Shaw but if Egan plays that will be good as well, should be good match.
