We may have one of the best clearance midfields in the AFL, but in terms of Footskills our midfield is bottom 4.

Greenwood Adams Treloar Crisp Sidebottom... they all struggle to hit a forward on a lead.

This season is a rite off, 2 months ago you couldn't hav scripted how badly it's gone, the entire club is devoid of any confidence and it's going to be a long way back from here.

It's what this midfield does with ball in hand that is hurting this club, on paper they look good and stats can be very deceiving.
In reality they are very poor decision makers and don't work as a unit.

Since Brown, Jolly and Ball we haven't picked up a best 22 senior player from another club (Wells is the exception). Russell, Lynch, Young, Mayne.... Just staggering

We just assumed we had a tonne of room but the media are hearing we paid 100% of the cap this year.

Everyone assumed we would only pay 95% this year to land "the big fish" for next season but media are saying otherwise.

So who knows what it is at...

When I say topping up of players, I mean senior (older) players, not players we give up the farm for like Treloar, WHE and Adams (ie Heath Shaw, first round picks).
