Okay, this might sound ludicrous. But the tartar is someone in South Fremantle/Freo circles.

Freo's keenness for a reliable target in the 50 is obvious. No idea how advanced it is or how hard they're going.

The whole Buddy thing has come and gone. But the same guy said we offered Franklin "essentially" $2 million a year, implying it'd be frontloaded but it'd tally that amount.

Darling re-signed at the end of 2011 on a two-year deal. No idea what the Dockers are prepping in terms of tradees. I won't even speculate because it'd be baseless and kind of irrelevant to the crux of this thread: Freo want Jack Darling.

The kid can play but can Rosco P. Coltrane stay inside his head in the same way that Worsfold has? West Coast would demand and most likely receive a ludicrous price, which would put the onus on Darling to be a 60+ goalkicker for the rest of his career. A couple of injuries, a bit of poor form and this might drop back. Then the pressure would mount.

Anyway, it's pretty obvious they're after some decent midfielders, and you'd assume ol' Viv's going to be at least serviceable in the AFL. But I'd be genuinely disappointed if he debuted at West Coast.

If they offered JD massive amounts of coin he couldn't resist we say goodbye Jack and hello to whoever we get in return, unless of course west coast can match the offer... money talks for sure but I'm hopeful loyalty plays a bigger part. I just don't think Jack will move to the dark side.
