has been a gallant effort, I suspect a few sides in the top 8 breathed a sigh of relief that the rampaging tigers dipped out whilst those weak ***** in the red and white limped into the final series...alas, we can be sattisfied that giant strides have been made as we march toward the promised land with some serious conviction, 12 months ago we were in no-mans land, searching for the light. Now the building blocks are in place to be a successful unit. I'm proud of the lads, we have a genuine depth of young talent that will be on display during the VFL final series, we'll add another 4 or so to this exciting list and LOOK OUT in 2009, The tigers are on the way:thumbsu:

Eat'em Alive

aMAZING HOW MUCH CLUBS FIRE UP WHEN THEY KNOW rICHMOND COULD GET IN THE 8.

aDELAIDE WOULD RATHER LOSE TO SEE US OUT THAN WIN..

tHE ENVY OF THE tIGER!!

We need to beat Melbourne even though there's nothing riding on it. Finish off 2008 on a high and gear up for a what should be interesting and exciting 2009 :thumbsu:

I am looking forward to it already.

im proud of the players all year they had a go and this time next year we should be settled inside the 8 nicely.

If only we beat the bloody Saints that night. We'd be playing finals grrrrrrrr
Not to mention the 2 extra points we should got from the Bulldogs game when we had it shot to bits with 5 mins remaining.

Let's hope we have another good run with injuries next year.

...those weak ***** in the red and white limped into the final series...
Now I'm as disappointed in missing the potential September action as everyone else, but the Swans are hardly the worst team in the top 8 at the moment. They annihilated us at the SCG and have this ridiculous talent for finals football. I'd be putting a chalk mark on the tyres of the Saints and the Crows myself.

But anyway...let's keep our eyes on the draft and let's see what Craig Cameron can do.

I'm looking forward to the following things:

  • A win over Melbourne next week
  • Having a fully fit Cogs back in the midfield
  • Seeing if Cartledge can improve on his first two for us (which I thought were pretty good)
  • Seeing what Cotch can do with a full pre-season under his belt
  • Having another as-yet unsung Tiger really step up (Foley last year, to a lesser extent perhaps, but certainly Moore this year)
  • Attending my first ever finals match in Victoria (and first ever with the Tigers playing)

geezuz bif, cant think of anyone that would challenge them for it, Lost 5/6...there's no knock on saints and crows right now....forget swans form of 12 weeks ago partner, that was then this is now...wish we were playing them in r 22 for a spot....

Me too. I reckon with a bit of want we'd do them in.

And maybe you're right (perhaps I just don't like the Crows and and Saints). We'll see in a couple of weeks anyway.
