Absolutely huge decision for me. Travis(T-Pain)Cloke is out this week for me, I've had enough. I can do a striaght swap for either Johnson or O'keefe. ROK doesn't really come up with big scores but is very consistent. Johnson on the either hand can come up with 100+ consecutively. His fitness is a worry for me though! What do ya reckon??

Cheers:thumbsu:

Easily Johnson. O'Keefe will average 80-85, no more, no less. He will do this consistently. Johnson should average 90+, especially after he fully recovers from his early injuries.

Agreed. But I'm wondering how long that will be. Struggled against freo if not for a big last term and only came up with a 75. I'd be spewing if i picked BJ up and he went down for a few weeks! It might be worth the risk though. Cheers

S. Johnson .. :D

B. Johnson iirc, had only scored 37 pts at 3QT time ..
definately a big risk ..

go towards o'keefe if u want consistency IMO

The thing i'm worried about as a Brad Johnson owner is that he is still really hampered by his injury and i really don't see him playing 100% anytime soon. He had a week off and by reports, it didn't get any better. I have a feeling the dogs will keep risking him because a 80-90% fit Johnson is better than any player the dogs could replace him with. When the bulldogs have secured a finals or top 4 spot, they might rest him for the last few weeks before the finals start.

tough call considering the circumstances.

Ryan O'Keefe is my favourite player in DT. i like to buy him at the very start of the year because he usually plays 22 games. although he is not a super gun who averages 90+... he proves his worth by giving me 1800+ pts over the course of a season. the Darren Milburn of the forwards :).

Brad Johnson is way better but is definately struggling for fitness. he has a habit of playing through injuries though (with success, i might add). i've got a feeling he'll miss 1 or 2 games at some point. if you like risks, pick him.

Brad Johnson just knows how to get points. Keep in mind on the weekend he just missed 2 gettbale shots at the end, which is very unlike him, if he kicked them would have pulled out an 85 from nowhere.

Go with ROK, BJ still struggling a bit with injurie niggles, but if you can wait until he gets over them then get him that would be ideal.

Thought id keep this thread going for another year. I wouldn't be getting ROK or Johnson, i'd be getting Jefferey Garlett. As Mark Riley put it best "I wouldn't like to be a half-back flanker with the ball in my hands in today's game with Jefferey Garltett in the vicinity because he'll run you down".
