Apologies first for clogging teh forumz with another x vs y thread but with that said i'm sure i'm not the only coach unsure as to which of these two top forwards has most upside for the run home.

Would you take O'Keefe for $645,000 with an average of 110? Has not scored under 134 in the last 6 weeks which is just crazy GAJ like numbers.

Or would you go for Didak for a slightly lighter pricetag of $633,000 and averaging 113 although he's missed 5 games already this year. Like ROK hasn't scored under 132 in the last 5 weeks. Both in just ridiculous form and well worth the extra buck or two.

At the minute i'm leading towards ROK. Averages 128 against the blues and from memory i can recall him having a 200+ game against Carlton last year? Was also the week i brought him in last year so that could be a nice little omen

Will be on the biggest stiffy after clicking complete trade and looking at my first three forwards reading ROK/Didak, Chapman, Riewoldt

Who do you like and why?

Well I've seen alot of O'keefe over the years, and I would say he's in career best form. Sayig that, Didak, of what I've seen, is also in career best form. Might be time to flip a coin.

I would go O'keefe though.

Theres just so many if's and buts. O'Keefe now playing without Hall, and in an average side that won't make finals. Didak on the other hand in career best form and in a red hot side on the up. Basically now widdled it down to two trade options

Kruezer + O'Keefe/Didak

or

Jolly + Davis +100k

bahh.

2nd option for sure man, Davis can score as good or better than those to and jolly will score more than Kruezer.

Can't go wrong with either.

Forget the Hall issue, O'Loughlin wasn't playing either earlier in the season and it looks like we're going to play Jesse White as a key forward for the rest of the year.
I reckon the club have finally worked out that he's more value to us up around the midfield. He's as fit as they come too so he won't be put away for early surgery or anything..
He is very low risk and scoring monsters so don't be afraid to take him.

Don't worry about blocking the forum, intelligent comment or query will always stimulate interesting debate and feedback, if you put in a crap post nobody will respond and it will quickly disappear off the bottom of the page ...

Yours is in the former rather than the latter category btw :)

Tough choice.

O'Keefe is burning in a side playing poorly and also has a record of scoring well in Super Coach. Didak is in career best form in a side where a number of players are in career best form. I have Didak in my Dreamteam so I am pretty content there.

If I was forced now to choose one for my Super Coach side I would lean I think towards O'Keefe based on past performance. But I would love to have them both :)

Hi inwhiterooms and thanks for creating this interesting thread.

I definitely think you should hold off a week as Trent Hentschel is listed as 'test' on the injury list. He could be back next week and would be a handy inclusion into in serious super coacher's side...

Thanks for the replies and poll votes. Ended up going for Didak in the end and had a little extra cash than i first thought, which allowed me to turn M.Brown into Didak rather than Krakouer who has potential to score a little more and be a very able #8 forward.

It was very much a 50-50 decision in the end with both players in the form of their life with recent scores being almost impossible to split. My one deciding factor was to pick the player in the better team, as even if ROK is as fit as he's ever been, those around him may not be and in a struggling side that may put the cue in the rack a little early, players and positions around ROK could affect his scores. It's a long shot but gave me piece of mind in the end.

The uniqueness of Didak was also another big plus. Now it's time to sit back and let the SC gods watch this unfold..

My other trade as well that provided me with the cash was a cox > kruezer downgrade. Fingers crossed

I don't think they like you too much :p

ROK is near untaggable and Didak has been suspect tonight. But he has been sensational over the last 4 weeks (i have no ROK, but have had Didak since round 1)

Might only be a 1 off, but its gonna cost you some points this week at least.... Thems the breaks
