old golf game

does anyone remember PGA tour golf?

it was published or what ever in 1990 by sterling silver software

to start the game you needed all these drive distances for different holes and if you didnt get the right number the game re-started

if anyone knows can they give me the list of the distances

Type it into a search engine, sometimes old cheats are still listed on old sites or on bulletin boards.

PGA Tour Golf.

What memories. Printing out the yardages, hoping you'd get the TPC question.

First time I played the game, I fluked the code by pressing enter. I'm guessing it must have been the 121 yards for 17th at Sawgrass. That's what a nut I was on this game

From then on, I was hooked,.

The 1991 version for Mac is still the best golf game I've played. A simply awesome program.

The PC version is much worse. Less crisper, choppy music and poor graphics. The Mac version was sharp, sleek, had a cracking soundtrack and quality animated graphics.

I'd kill for a download of some of those old Mac games. Dark Castle was another that springs to mind. Classics.
