He's not actually. Cam signed a big contract off the back of a year he won the BnF. Genuinely one of our highest paid players despite being MIA for the last 2 years.

Why? He signed a 4 year deal coming off an AA and B&F year in 2020.

Cameron and Guthrie are the only two mature guys left on their big long-term deals signed in their 20s. Everyone else are either young, old or have never been elite.

You'd take Darcy first (correctly) because quality key forwards are the rarest player type and the hardest to get. But for his player type Dempsey is an absolute gun.

As per Jon Ralph post-match last night, Dempsey is on the verge of signing for four years to take him to FA.

Was never going to leave but great to have another important signing done by mid-season.
