Without bothering to check, I'm guessing there's a Crows or Port game on at the same time? As far as I'm aware, games involving local teams in WA/SA are shown live on Fox, then delayed on Channel 10.

Exactly.

Both Adelaide games are on Fox (Live) and
Ten (Port delayed, Adelaide Live),
at the expense of Car v Freo, Ess v Richmond (no coverage).

It is ridiculous.

Plenty of Rugby League live on 502,

Actually, the original 9/Foxtel proposal masterminded by Kerry Packer right before he died would have provided for better Australia wide broadcasting of football than ever.

Kerry Packer did wonders for many sports in this country and if the AFL hadn't made the diabolic mistake of selling 7 the right of refusal for $5M (enabling them to simply match the $780M on offer from 9/Fox with no real plan of how they were going to manage it all) footy fans across the country would be better for it today.

The deal constructed by KP is exactly the same one we currently have only Channel Ed would do what Ch7/10 currently do/have. No different, in essense they are still the cause but Channel 7/10 could have and should have changed it.

The deal is great in Melbourne. I never miss a match on the TV and if I do, I just IQ it and watch it later (still a member, just can't get to games anymore with my own footy commitments). I had just hate 7 broadcasting it. They are horrible.

its just annoying, under fox footy we just got the telecast of the game on FTA melbourne on the SA channel. same screw over for WA viewers too i think

i suppose i only have to wait until 8am the next morning to see the game..
