AFL Club
Richmond
This club needs to move on from Hardwick now.

Clearly the club made the wrong call signing Hardwick for 2 years. If we had not signed him to that contract - he would be gone.

What I suggest is doing a similar thing to the "One Big Switch" that recently happened with the power company's. Basically, if every member & supporter who believes that it is completely fair and reasonable for us to pay out 1 full year of his contract, & he forfeit the final year out of "goodwill" wrote a well worded, non threatening & non-abusive letter to the club, attention Damien Hardwick - all on the same day - perhaps DH can prove he is the good, honest person I think we all can agree he is - he will agree to walk under those conditions.

End of the day - the club is for the supporters. If the supporters are not enjoying the ride, everyone & anyone at the club who is seriously interested in the "Best interest" of the RFC should agree to those conditions.

This is truly ridiculous. 70,000 members stuck going into 2017 with no hope or interest. Players walking.

Enough is enough. No chicken poo this time, its time to act grown up folks

you have no idea what is going on behind close doors ( board / management ) so trust those who do , if not challenge them for their positions

Supporters don't care what is going on behind closed doors mate. We care about enjoying our football

No one is enjoying this shit. Its time to move on, for the clubs sake.

The board does not own the club. They are their to act on behalf of the members and potential members. If the supporters and members can communicate to them in a non aggressive, non threatening, mature way their dissatisfaction - I see no reason why that should be ignored.

All this is about is money. As a supporter, I couldn't care less about the money of it. They need to be grown ups and think about what is best for the club

If we allow them to keep Hardwick there for 1 more season, I can assure you this club will be ruined. We did the same thing with Wallace in his final year & it put the club back years & that was even BEFORE free agency. If we put the players and supporters through that crap again, our top players will walk.

FFS EFC has had 3 years of total scandal and even still, they will go into 2017 with buckets more hope, potential & pride than RFC. This is not about sacking a coach - its about supporters trying to save its club from itself

maybe they are making informed decisions which are best for the club and with alot more information than what you have at hand. Calculated decision making is often seen as lack of reaction , weak etc etc
Calculated informed decisions made in the light of day, versus reactionary jumping at shadows ?

Excuse me Astro how many memberships and what memberships do you have?

So let me help you out here... But you need to change your thread title to sack Hardwick petition mods?

This is a pretty simple way of doing it but if we get a spreadsheet going for the petition and send it to the club they may pay attention to it.

Details would be:

Full Name:
Current Membership:
Change to Membership if Hardwick isn't sacked:

You probably don't need much more information than that as the club will know the names of their members, and know some random won't just know the names of members and their exact memberships.

Probably going to need in the 100s before they'll pay any attention but at that stage you probably need to get it out to more members/bigger members to make something happen.

They only understand red ink

There is no doubt the only reason Hardwick has a job is because Benny and Peggy are protecting their jobs.

Not sure I follow the logic there, docko? How is protecting Hardwick a good thing for Gale and O’Neal? If Gale and O’Neal are protecting Hardwick (and they probably are, from what we can see outside the famous four walls), then aren’t they putting their heads on the block too?

If we get to the bye next season, and we don’t have more wins than losses, their all Max Gawn. If Gale and O’Neal were covering their own arses, they’d sack Hardwick and have a free ride next year on the excuse that it’s a new coach and expectations are suddenly dropped.

I lost you after the trust part.
