And no it's not the one I predicted,
IN: Godfrey
OUT: Williams

Godfrey has most likely been brought in for a tagging job on Shane Crawford. This may be his last chance at the club. As for Williams, this injury could spell the end to his career at the Dees, as I'm not sure if he will be able to force his way back into the team.

Story from Demons.com.au
Melbourne has made one forced change to its team for Saturday’s match against Hawthorn at the MCG, with midfielder Simon Godfrey replacing the injured Luke Williams.

Williams has a hairline fracture in his jaw. It is unfortunate timing for Williams, who had only just forced his way back into the seniors for last week’s win over Carlton.

Godfrey has been in good form for Sandringham in the VFL and gets his second chance at senior level this year, after playing against the Saints in round seven.

Troy Broadbridge, Steven Armstrong and Ross Funcke have been named as emergencies.

The Hawks have also made one change, with Angelo Lekkas returning from injury at the expense of Tim Clarke.

Great, just BLOODY great.

Ten bucks says Godfrey does bugger all, no ground time, less than 5 possies and generally does what he normally does.

God I hate our selction panel sometimes!

I'll be getting to the 'G when gates open (15 mins before the public thanks to my MCC membership! :D) and will be getting front row seats in either the Olympic stands Blue seats, or the Southern Stand. A Dees supporting mate of mine is coming along, but not for the whole match. Anyone's welcome to a seat, just let me know before the game and I'll save ya a seat! :D

Damn I hate it when the gates open earlier! Means I have to getthere earlier... well actually it means I just go about the same time, and spend longer looking for seats! :p

Yeah gates open at 10:30 i think. The same thing will happen before the game against the Tigers in two weeks when the Bendigo Senior SC play PEGS in the MCC Herald Sun Shield Final. Two early starts for you coming up Deestroy.

It looks like I shall be there with my mates, as one of them is driving up. I'm meant to be working, but they screwed me around today so I feel like not turning up tomorrow. Plus, I get in for free to see Melbourne win.

I pay for nothing too, which is also good! :D

Yay! A curtain raiser! I am still finalising things pre-game. I will definitely be there for the match, but will have to again leave early.

Tut, tut, tut! ;)

I am just hoping like hell we get fired up for Ox and our 1000th game at the G, as you never know what we can go out there and do come Saturday.

I hope it's the "good" Melbourne who turn up!
