However, Reid related one issue that was holding Adelaide back in trade negotiations - their refusal to discuss players they could not talk to or get a medical test for this week.
"We've had four or five we've spoken to," Reid said.
"One of the problems with trade week is we haven't got a lot of time, and one thing with our club is we won't recruit unless we've spoken to someone and had full medicals done.
"Some are in London or New York, so some names that have lobbed you say 'we'd like to have a crack at that', but they're not here, so we can't go down that process."

Seems reasonable to me and it always amazes me the number of players that are overseas during trade week, therefore unable to talk to prospective new coaches face to face, see facilities, have medicals etc.
