On behalf of all of the Purple Horde, I'd like to apologise for the booing that the stupid minority of our supporters gave Paul Medhurst. Any Freo supporter worth their salt knows that the Megastar gave his all for us and was devastated at the prospect of being traded, however as always there was a bunch of ******s that felt the need to make us all look like fools. The majority still love him like he's one of our own and in a way I am a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see him weave some of his magic tonight.

Bad luck tonight, Freo's ability and potential belies our position on the ladder and it was only a matter of time until we put it together for (very nearly) four quarters. Don't be too hard on yourselves. Good luck for the finals, I wish we were joining you.
