Lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

Trust me, I am more fired up than anyone....but we have to remember we are only 1/2 way. We have some huge games to come even before we mention the "F" word.

I think the break has come at a great time for the Bombers. Now we need to consolidate the good efforts performed so far this year and continue to build on those efforts.

Look at the pussy cats, they are absolutly flying and are controlled, skilled and agressive. As much as a top 4 position at 1/2 way is great, we still got some work to do in knocking off Port next Geelong and others.

We also should not forget we have lost games to Kangaroos, Hawthorn, Carlton and Collingwood, that should be enough to make any players bloody boil.

Bring on the 2nd half of the season

Yay

I think the most exciting thing is that we are not playing great footy at the moment but the team is "willing itself" to wins. We have plenty of improvement left through some of the quick kids who have been injured and I reckon Lloyd is getting ready to start dominating.

Let's hope so..

This week is very important, as is every week. No easy games these days.

so true their isnt one game i would pencil down as a win... the season is so close, beating teams who are around the 8 is vital to making the finals so lets make sure we beat port and teams like kangas hawks pies etc as they are pretty much eight point games..

We are riding our luck at the moment.

4 goals in 5 mins against Richmond. The ball bouncing in to the "fat post" in Sydney. Now a frantic last quater against WCE.

So very important to post a win against Port, then follow it up against Melbourne after the break.

Its a must to keep racking up the wins to cement our spot in the 8 and then look from there.

The race for the flag is wide open (the most open race I can remeber in years) so we need to keep putting our best foot forward each week.

I'm more nervous about playing Melbourne that the Power in Adelaide. But that's always the way isn't it?

Couldn't have hoped for a better start to the year (ok maybe i could, we should've beat Carlton!) but i'm pleased where we're sitting right at this point in time.
This week looms as another massive test for us and then we'll get a better understanding of where we are and the direction we're we are heading.
