im not quite understanding the angst towards topics of conversation with MM. let's look at the achievements and features of his career:
played for 3 teams.
played for lions 3 peat
reiwoldt incident
went to essendon and played there
that's about it. they were covered.
Yeah, seriously. Do we really need to hear about Brisbane's three flags again?
enjoyed it
easy to forget how they were screwed over in 2004
That scene they showed where Michael was walking off with Chris Johnson, Brad Scott, Martin Pike - four seriously brutal players....sums up why they won three flags.

And on the Sat night too.yeah playing prelim away. not right.
So because they'd won the flag the year before they shouldn't have been treated fairly?Outrageous. I mean three flags instead of four, how do they go on with life?

Rubbish.
Port were at home on Friday night. Brisbane didn't get home until Sunday, having to fly back from interstate. You can't tell me it didn't make a difference.Having a joke. Yeah, they were treated unfairly, but they were belted by Port. You can't tell me it made a difference in the grand final result. Please.
Forgive me if my heart doesn't bleed for poor Brisbane.
They were better than us in 2001. Get over it.Let's just ignore that an unjustified absence of salary cap pressure allowed Brisbane to be competitive for 4 years and win 3 in a row. Making 4 and winning 3 was a greater injustice than some unfortunate scheduling in "04.
Let's hope it's not too late for the removal of COLA so that Sydney do not do what Brisbane did. And what of GWS in the next few years?
Where did I say I was bitter about 2001? Perhaps you should respond to what I write rather than what you think I meant. They were better than us in 2001. Get over it.
I believe so.was 2004 the last year where an interstate preliminarist was made to play away at the G?
i for one am not displeased that this is no longer the case
