Injury news: Brodie Grundy - arrived around 30 mins late, was limping slightly. Overheard him talking to Derek Hine, he said he pulled a muscle and then put his hand near his groin so I'm assuming that was the problem.

Toovey - got no idea what's wrong with him but only lasted around 30 mins and ran 1/4 of a lap before walking the rest of his laps.

Ball - ran laps, looks good running. Definately hasn't lost his calf definition.

Injury/rehab group consisted of: Daisy, Fas, Keeffe, Elliott, Reid, Jolly, Ramsay, Goldy, Cloke, Gault and Mooney. They all walked a lap when the main group did their warmup and played a no fumbling game and did a fair bit of core work and some leg stretching exercises with the elastics.

Daisy still has a noticeable limp, was out of the boot but had ankle brace on. Goldy had no visible strapping etc. he clearly looks the more advanced of the two.

Beams & Reid left around 45-1hr in. Unsure why. Marley and Dwyer also left after around 1.5 hours.

Caff and Krak fully participated in various running & kicking drills which the group participated in. They both also did jostling drills.

Before training, Sammy Dwyer came out first and told one of the trainers they were held in for a while doing weights.

I'm fairly certain Clinton Young was with the rehab group, although I'm not 100% familiar with his face.

The group basically did a lot of running and kicking drills, jostling and handball drills. While at the end they did a mini match. It was Witts against Hudson. I'd say they were pretty equal in terms of the amount of hitouts they got.

Oxley & Paine did some 1 on 1 work at times, just kicking to each other. Both have lovely kicks on them.

The boys do have a lot of fun out there, making the crowd laugh when they yell things at eachother like 'gee you mark like dawesy' and telling the coaches that they'd like to see them do some laps this session.

Elijah Edwards and the mystery man who some people are thinking is Tom Boyd were also there. Edwards is a stick. Very quick, could possibly improve his reaction time & handballing. Kicking looks good though.

Carnthepies, thanks for the update. Grundy a bit concerning, but i suppose its dangerous to speculate.

To be honest, it's probably nothing major, his limp was very slight and one of the trainers was walking laps with him, trying to make him walk a different way, which was a bit odd to see. Grunds said he was getting it scanned tomorrow, but then said something about this afternoon so I'm not quite sure what's happening. Another positive is that Grundy was talking to the trainer about ways that he could reach the amount of kilojoules he needs for each day etc. so he's clearly dedicated.

I'm expecting he does what he did to scott mcmahon in the final against north last year, again for us round 1.

Better then Dawes would do who would not show any Physicality

Did you see Swan? Curious as to how he is traveling. He looked like he was going hard in Utah with the training.

How was the ball movement looking in full ground drills? any stand outs by foot?

Ben Richmond has picked up the oval ball quite well, he seems to have real good control over it.

Ben Kennedy, Kyle Martin, Adam Oxley, Jack Frost & Tim Broomhead have good foot skills. I don't think there were any 'poor' kicks in the newbies. For the most part I couldn't see Sam Dwyer. With a cap on he's pretty hard to tell.

Seedsman, Sinclair and J.Thomas look pretty good in the full ground things. Thomas was lining up on Kyle Martin and occasionally pendles.

The Caff is also looking good with his kicking motion.

Cheers mate, we moving the ball a bit more central yet or still the wide long path to goal?

I was at the Dees session across the park, and you'd be doing well if your boys were as on as Dawesy was today ;) :thumbsu:
