Experienced player who has co-captained an AFL club, and if given a new environment can be a solid footballer in my opinion. We can pick him up on minimum wage so risk is low? We have lost a plethora of experience in the last 2weeks....

John Gotti is who we should have got. Pick 28 for WHE while Carlton get marchbanck, picket and the other bloke for a fire first and something in the 50s.

I agree with the OP, Grimes not the worst suggestion, when and if fit, the guy can really play, when players get serious injuries and are off the scene for a bit peoples memories become very very short.
Grimes was a captain for a reason, had very very good form up until a few years ago, is only 27 and plays with serious heat, I really like him as a player and a rookie spot would be a smart investment i reckon.
