Kennedectamosis equals get games into Ben Kennedy.

Is it time to start getting games into Kennedy? The guy is the future and now is the time. The kid has tricks that we need. We're close to a flag, and we need crumbing forwards of his ilk. This is a great club, and Kennedy should be part of our future flag foundations going forward, playing forward.

To cut a long story short, rumors are he wants out and you couldn't blame him. How would you feel if you started as sub, or either that or were being kept out of the side by one of Bucks clear favourites in Blair?

Injury to Broomhead this week. Opens a spot up for him. We need to get games into him and bump up his trade value. Then we can package him and a first rounder to get the Treloar deal over the line. Do it pies.
He doesn't want out and much to everyone's amazement, he is actually extremely highly rated by Buckley and one of his favourites.

I know a lot of you may not believe that, but Buckley rates his ferocity at the ball and thinks he will be a great player for us.

All this talk of Buckley not rating him and Kennedy wanting to leave is so far off the mark it isn't funny.

I agree that it would be nice to see him get some more opportunities. But having a pot shot at Blair is unfair. Last year I would have agreed but this year Blair has deserved his spot in the best 22.

His tank has been the greatest thing holding him back. No doubt the staff are working on that, once it's at a good level, he'll play.
Reckon they've got plans for him long term. Not everyone blossoms in first/second year, some take a bit of work before they are ready to shine IMO

I think we do but clearly he has to earn a spot. You would have to think this week he will get the opportunity.

Considering how average we've been in the middle and coming up against a quality midfield unit this week I think we need include him to at least give us another rotation through there.

Then why does he not get a Game at AFL Level then?

Yeah ideally he needs to be played the rest of the year so we can have a good long look at what he can bring if given a consistent game. Playing him from now on works for us either way if he stays or gets traded. Hope we keep him though.

Needs to become an outside runner to get regular games for us, and be able to play Half back, wing and forward.

He just doesnt seem to have many strings to his bow right now

If we start pumping games in to him I'd hazard a guess that he would be happy to stay. He did sign a two year extension at the end of last year after all.

He needs to take a game apart in the seniors the way he does in the VFL and he'll never look back

Up to now he's lacked composure when he goes up and even his elite kicking goes to crap and back

The rumour was started by a poster who disagreed with the direction the club was heading last year. Highly critical of our recruitment of mature players, where he/she thought they knew better.

Edit: like my post if you're a troll masquerading as a Collingwood supporter because Collingwood is a great club!

But Kennedy isn't a small forward...

His non selection from week to week would suggest otherwise.
