Melbourne should do well with all their first round draft picks
And St Kilda has some great picks next draft in the 1st round

Bit of both. Dogs are playing horribly, fumbling everything that comes to them, second to the ball. Melbourne are ferocious though. Hunting in packs, tackling hard. They get Gawn and Hogan back and they can be right up there. This game is making our form against Melbourne last week look pretty good now.Or maybe the Bulldogs are just playing badly?I don't know, because i'm not watching the game,i'm only going by the scores.

Our form good also bullies not that great. Melbourne clearly the better teamThis game is making our form against Melbourne last week look pretty good now.Or maybe the Bulldogs are just playing badly?I don't know, because i'm not watching the game,i'm only going by the scores.
Watts, Petracca, Salem, Tyson, Bugg (prelisted as an underage by GWS, assumption he would have been taken first round), Oliver, Jones, Viney (Port bid pick 7), Lewis, Hibberd.I don't think they have that many. 4 by my count. It's their recruiting of players from other clubs and guys picked up in that later rounds that are really helping.
I wonder if Bontempelli is pissed or relieved at being replaced by Petracca as the most over-hyped player in the AFL.
Not bad having ten first round draft picks in the 22, should be even better than they are.Watts, Petracca, Salem, Tyson, Bugg (prelisted as an underage by GWS, assumption he would have been taken first round), Oliver, Jones, Viney (Port bid pick 7), Lewis, Hibberd.
That's 10 of 22 first round selections by my count, with Hogan, Weideman and Brayshaw all out too. Yeah, some of those players are trades, but it doesn't stop them being first rounders.
Drinking their own bath water, just like their supporters have been up to now.Pressure of being the premiers, is it getting to them
Most of them are top 10's as well. Not bad having ten first round draft picks in the 22, should be even better than they are.
Yet we could have should have, we are not that bad of a list, not far offMost of them are top 10's as well.
He'll get the nod before players who deserve it like Neale and Zorko. So Petracca will be in the AA by years end then?
Yeah I wasn't really counting them because they were traded in. I was more touching on the fact that they have brought in the right players over the last couple of years.Watts, Petracca, Salem, Tyson, Bugg (prelisted as an underage by GWS, assumption he would have been taken first round), Oliver, Jones, Viney (Port bid pick 7), Lewis, Hibberd.

It's a bit of a meaningless stat for mine. Ultimately having early picks just increases the odds of getting a decent player. Clubs can still make mistakes and players can still have deficiencies in their game, it's just less likely. We had more than a few play against Melbourne too:Not bad having ten first round draft picks in the 22, should be even better than they are.
I've always been bullish on our list, I'm just not convinced our coaches are any good.Yet we could have should have, we are not that bad of a list, not far off
If Bevo is true to form, Macrae should be the next one to do a stint in the twos. (Again). Watched him a bit today and boy is he a 'walker' Several times he gave up and stopped to a walk when a greater effort was required. Stringer won't be far behind him. Not many more selfish players getting around.

It amazes me that "The Bont" is in every "experts" mid season All Australian sides, yet Pendles cant get a look in most of the teams picked....In the case of Bontempelli he hasnt been anywhere near AA form this year so far...
Hopefully not this year, form does not warrant it.Bont probably will win the Brownlow
