Collingwood just kept our top 4 chances alive by losing to Adelaide tonight. They're only 1.9% ahead of us so it's definitely catchable if we can win our next two games.
When the dogs beat the Eagles tomorrow the Suns will leave the 8. If we win both games in the final round we'd be the first team in history to come from 9th to 4th in one week surely 🤣

We can also finish above Brisbane if they lose to the hawks, if that did happen and all other results went as expected Brisbane would probably drop to 7th
So under that circumstance where we finish 3rd, we'd play Geelong at the MCG in the first week of the finals?

We'd be in 6th, our percentage copped a hit today
I was assuming a win over Essendon would have gifted us the necessary 1.9% to jump into 4th.

So the bookies suggest we are $1.60 to make the top 4
$1.40 to win both games (I assume the difference is percentage based from Collingwood/melbourne and our 2)

$51 to miss the finals if you multi PA and Essendon both winning together

Both Port and Dons are a mess atm, if we were playing good sides i wouldn't be confident but we should win both, we only need the Dons win to make the 8 though

Swans have started well here. A Geelong loss today should mean Brisbane finish top 2 with a likely win over Hawthorn at the Gabba next week. Could come into play for us later down the track. I think if we had to play any team away in a qualifying/prelim final, then we'd probably want it to be Brisbane considering it removes the travel factor and us Gold Coasters will (hopefully) be able to attend.

Swans out to a fast start. A Sydney win and we may have potentially thrown away a double home chance yesterday.
I'm sure this won't happen, but in theory we can still finish ahead of both Brisbane and Geelong if Hawthorn beat the Lions and Richmond beat the Cats next week.

That Geelong guy the other week must’ve been getting nervious

Bowes comes on with 5 minutes left as sub. While the big guns returned for Geelong

Ollie Wines suspended for 3 games. Don’t think he was going all that well though anyway

He's been in there top couple of possession winners for the last 5 to 6 weeks.
Averaging 25+ and 6 clearances this year. Elite in hand balls.
