Is Noah's contract expiring? If so great moveRumours Knicks want Elf and will take Biz and we get Noah in return which would be a great move, free up a ton of space for next season
Just saw that, Bis has a 4th year player option which probably end in a buyout. Bis contract is better than Noah's as he is younger and arguably better. I think trading him with Payton for Noah would be a mistake unless we also got Ntilikina or their 2018 first.Actually just check noah's contracted for another 2 seasons beyond this one, basically exchanging biyombo for Noah while they get Payton. If want a draft pick or another piece coming our way.

The deadline has passed and we made no moves. Looks like Payton & Hezonja will leave as FA's this year. Hopefully won't offer Speights & Afflalo another year. We'll go into next year with $24m cap space which I assume AG will receive around $20m.
I missed thatDidn't Payton go to the sun's for a second rounder?
I missed that
Elfrid Payton traded to Suns
TO SUNS: Elfrid Payton
TO MAGIC: 2018 2nd-round pick (via Memphis)
I guess I'm not overly disappointed with that, the pick will be around 31-34 and as I said in my earlier post Elfrid would have been leaving anyway. I hope this means we're gunning for Trae Young.
Pointless trade, surely we could have got a young cheap talented guy.
Plus their first rounder. God damn front office!Or Booker....
its his best position, I know i was shocked too.Random observation - Basketball Reference says Mario Hezonja has played 71% of his minutes at Power Forward this season.
If true, umm, why?
Also because Simmons is a better SF and Hezonja has been playing most of his minutes as AG's replacementRandom observation - Basketball Reference says Mario Hezonja has played 71% of his minutes at Power Forward this season.

Incapable of guarding 3s, to slow with his lateral movement and get's lost on switches.
