Dude... ok, I know this is off topic and belongs on another board, but I know a couple of posters (Stiffy) will respond, ha ha.

Clips... dominating win over the Suns!!! How ya like me now Kobe?

Would NOT be surprised to see them go all the way to the Finals. Sorry Dirk, love you man... but Clips are just too strong.

LOL - hopefully they can shut out Phoenix back in LA and take it 4-1.

Not sure why you're hating on Kobe. I was ACHING to see the hallway series. But now I'm gonna enjoy them busting on Nash, who has somehow won two MVP's while not being the best player on his team ...

Not hating on Kobe, just razzing him 'cause he had the chance to be a Clipper.

Go you Spurs!
1-1 with the Mavs.

Love the way Crows and Spurs are both so professional and balanced TEAMS. Nice synergy for my sports support :)

New Jersey Nets for the title

J-Kidd (Jason kidd), Vinceanity (Vince Carter) and Richard Jefferson are awesome and I want them to beat the Bad Boys part 2 (Detroit Pistons) and then knock the heartless San Antonio and Timmy Duncan out.

All I got to say is Elton Brand is a star. One of the most under-rated player in the NBA that is only getting the recognition now. Absolutely love him as a player. He is a 20/10/2 type player with a minimum of fuss and plenty of D.

It would be somewhat ironic of Clippers could go all the way but I think Detroit is the team to beat. They are much more polished offensively than under Larry Brown but have kept up their defensive intensity. They are much better than last year and they were only one missed Horry shot away from taking the title last year.

crows98, I would love to see Nets win the east. I would be proud as a punch if Krstic could win a ring this year :thumbsu:

Who ever come out of the East (it’s down to 3 Detroit, Miami and New Jersey) will win the whole thing.

I would seriously love to see Vince Carter, Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson get a ring but the Nets wont win it all, they are rank outsiders at this stage. My heart wants the Nets to win it before the Bulls grow up and become a contender again but my head says stick with the Detroit Pistons to win it all in 5 over the Dallas Mavericks (I hate the Pistons and Spurs)

3 years time I want to see an all Illinois Eastern Conference final – Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks (but Cleveland are going to be good as well with Lebron James)

And to think I used to like reading your posts!

Spurs are a great club. No :D:D:D:Ders with attitude. Good profressional team who all play team defence and don't rely too heavily on a superstar system to score enough points to win a game.

Sounds like an AFL club I just can't quite think of the name of....

You're a DISGRACE crows 98 :P

Fair call :thumbsu:

I have a lot of respect for the Spurs and the way they go about it. Pop is a great coach and according to Parker he goes Serbian on the boys when he gets angry :D :D

That’s ok; it’s your prerogative to like any club you like, I just don’t like defensive basketball with little or no excitement. At least the Pistons have the twin Wallace’s (Ben and Rasheed) to give it a bit of life

Bruce Bowen is not a player you would suggest that he has a very good attitude, he is a thug and a sniper who loves to take cheap shots when the umpire is not looking.

I do like Manu Ginobili, Sean Marks and Tony Parker

Disgrace is a bit harsh isn’t it?

Point taken RE; Bruce Bowen. He sh*ts me to tears with his cheap shots.

However, Spurs are far from boring, they can actually score with the best of them. You have Timmy D, Manu and Parker in the starting line up and those 3 are great scorers and then you have Nick Van Excel, Brent Barry and Michael Finley coming off the bench. Thats some SERIOUS fire power off the bench. Not to mention bloody Robert Horry who grows another leg when the play offs come around and his cohonos get bigger the tighter the game gets

Spurs proved last year that they can score with the best of teams out there, when they beat the suns at their own game.

Spurs can play pretty much every type of basketball that you want them to, and they do it when the circumstances dictate it.

Having said that, I reckon Pistons just about have it in the bag this year.

Believe it or not Stiffy_18 some people actually didn’t like to watch Magic player or Larry Bird or even Michael Jordan play, everyone like a different style of play and the Spurs just don’t do it for me.

I appreciate that the San Antonio squad is exceptionally good and in the top 3 NBA sides at the moment, they know how to win games of basketball (but so did Port Adelaide Power in the early 2000’s) as well as win championships but I still didn’t get excited about what they offered as a product. They are very good player but for some reason there style of play just bores me.

Timmy D, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker would almost be world starting 5 but put them together and I just don’t find that inspiring to watch, maybe I don’t have a lot of desire to see the San Antonio Spurs win. Robert Horry at LA (and still is) Mr Clutch put everything together and calls them the San Antonio Spurs and they :D:D:D:D me to tears.

I would rather watch the Baby Bulls with Ben Gordon or Kirk Hindrich and not be sure of a victory over the spurs and know they will win 9 out of ever 10 games

A very strong argument, it would be even more compelling if it were true :p

After MJ faded out and the Bulls broke up i stopped loving basketball. I remember the Clippers being the easy beats though, pretty incredible to see them in the finals. If anything i would like to see the Bucks do well cos of the Aussie Bogut.. that was another reason i liked the Bulls.. Luc Longley.

Not when said tongue in cheek... the :P doesnt do 'im speaking tongue in cheek' justice I guess. Apologies if you took that one personally, wasn't intended as such. I respect your right to hate the spurs for sure :) I just liked to draw the similariites to Adelaide to push a few buttons on an OT fun thread :)

shhhhhhhhh crows98. You are giving ammunition to all the other clubs supporters to say they hate games with Adelaide in it because we play tempo footy.. SHHHHH

Yeah, Brand is a superstar all right.

Another guy who is gonna be an absolute MONSTER next year (and in my books is already the 3rd best center in the NBA) is Chris Kaman. The guy's post moves are simply awesome and he's so good with either hand that for half the season last year I didn't know whether he was right-handed or left-handed.

Oh, and Sean Livingston is gonna blow up too. Going to be a big, big star. Kid is playing some great ball for a 19 year old who is basically a rookie (sat out all last year injured). His vision around the court is amazing and on top of that he gets boards and is starting to develop a shot. When he does... look out, cause his first step is also amazingly quick.

Plus, Maggette, Radmonovic, Singleton, Cassell, Mobley, Ross... the team is deep.

Dude, I tought you were a Lakers man since we had that debate about who will win out of Detroit and Lakers a couple of years ago. There was this dude that goes by the name of lacrow, he said that there is no way Pistons will win it :D :p
