I don't agree with you there Dave.

We delisted him at the end of 2012. At the time we still had Jolly and Witts, and we went and got Lynch and Hudson. Then on top of that we also drafted Grundy.

We had more than enough ruckmen at the time. Even now I wouldn't say he's a big upgrade on Witts or Grundy. He's certainly older than both.

We De-Listed Ceglar before Drafting Grundy. Grundy would not been part of the Plan when we De-Listed Ceglar. Was only the week of the Draft that Grundy came into our Thinking. Got Lucky there:thumbsu:

I can see what you saying with us getting Lynch and Hudson might of think we did not need Ceglar.

I also think Jolly finished quicker then we expected

Well yes Jolly finished quicker than we expected. But of course we didn't know that at the time, his 2012 year was solid enough.

We also would have had an eye on Grundy beforehand I would have thought.

Well we De-Listed Ceglar before the Trade Period. At that Time Grundy was seen as a top 3-5 Pick

Fair enough, but the fact we drafted him indicated we were probably looking at someone of his type. If he hadn't slipped that far I'd say there was a fair chance that we would have taken another ruckman.

Anyway I just think he wasn't ahead of Jolly at the time and we had already invested in Witts long-term - which is beginning to pay off now.

Well I remember hearing that we where into Daniel Currie and That is probably who we where looking at Drafting in the 2nd or 3rd Round.

In Hinesight we probably should Drafted Currie Too as a Mature Age Back-Up.

Witts last 2 games have been very promising

Nah I don't rate them. Their forward line is awful and they're decimated in the midfield.

We'll win comfortably IMO.

We couldn't beat WB and couldn't beat a GC team that had Ablett injured and no bench in the last.

This team gives me zero confidence. They just been serving up crap.

If WB serve up what they did against us against Essendon next week, they'll win by 5 goals. No two ways about it.

One quarter without a bench is manageable. Certainly when the opposition has kicked 10 points in a row and have all the momentum knocked out of them. It was also off a short 6-day break interstate thanks to the wonderful scheduling. Similarly GC would spank Essendon if they played on the Gold Coast tomorrow.

We will win.

Suns still had:

  • Swallow
  • Bennell
  • O’Mera
  • Martin
  • Prestia

They still had a Good Midfield without Ablett

Plus it’s at the G and we have already beaten the Dons. Even after not Scoring for over a Qtr.

This would give the Boys Conferdince that we can beat the Dons

9 of the last 10 we've beaten them :thumbsu:

They really just can't score enough. I can't see us losing.

and With Watson and Goddard gone. It makes it even less likely.

We would really have to play a Shocker to lose. Though that can still happen though but Unlikely

Do a bit of research. He acted like a campaigner when he was at Collingwood. Pulled his head since going to the hawks.

What do you mean by a Campaigner?
