He calls himself FIGJAM? Some Brisbane players who couldn;t match his drive called him the 10 years ago and now that they have benn replaced by players who have collectively done exactly what Buckley prematurely brought to their club they are tripple premiers.

That's about as good as an Essendon fan talking about sportsmanship. Even cheating they couldn't keep their players together. Buckley plays for his jumper. Hird talks about playing for the jumper to those on $500k less than himself and asks them to make scrifices so they don't get traded like their predecessors to fit him into the salary cap while he is getting extra cash outside of the cash from another in a line of serial salary cap cheating administartions at Essendon.

Short memories you lot. Nathan went were he thought he could play finals football, despite already receving money from North, and he did a dirty on Brisbane because they weren't good enough for him.

What you fail to realise is that Heffernan, Blumfield and Caracella were all pig headed demanding more than their worth and were traded for better players anyway.

And Hirds taken paycuts and isn't on anywear near what he's reported to be on. Plus he's worth it.

Well he got pretty close in 2002 and the truth is that only Brisbane's awsome outfit stand between Buckley and 2 premierships as captain. That is fact. To say he'll never lead his club to premiership is stupid. Maybe he won't but it will have nothing to do with anything other than his club not being the best side in the comp.

Look I understand you think you did some good deals. It doesn't matter whether I agree or not. The point was why they traded and the club, not me, said it was because of the salary cap. I am only going by what your club publicly says. Now similarly Hird is on record as asking players to accept less. Meanwhile Hird kept his fat cheque.
