Ottens Report??

🥰 Love BigFooty? Join now for free.

I thought it was late, that's all. At the time I was afraid the ump was going to give Furrito a second shot at goal. I remember them doing a similar thing with Rooke at Manuka one chilly day.
Saw it live and then the replay, and didnt even look that late either. we didnt even deem it worthy of a free kick.
No problem.

Am I correct in saying it's similar to when Colbert left Geelong?

No, Leigh Colbert was Geelong capt. He had also done his knee and the club rehabilitated him for twelve odd months. He repaid the club with a ****.

Ottens let Bitchmoan because they are toilet and a rabble of a club with low professionalism and no chance of making the 8 let alone a GF and coached by a arrogant self promoting big shot.

Nothing will warm my heart more than Ottens with a medallion around his neck on 29 Sept.

I'd say if it was really serious it would be all over the news and radio. Obviously no one thinks there's much in it. Ottens will be premiership player.

Nathan Brown ring any bells Richmond supporters? I don't think Doggies were too happy about that one.

The funny thing is, one of the major things they are missing is a ruckman. O well, such is life I guess. :D

Piss off to your own board and discuss ways you can utilise your wooden spoon. I can suggest one place you could put it. :p

No need for the attitude. And I don't get the "go back to your own board" mentality. It's a free internet. I can post where I like. If you want a private forum, set up your own and you can control who has permission to post.

It's about time Ottens actually woke up and decided to go to a team who actually appreciates what he brings to the table, unlike the rabble at Punt Road who would rather spit at coaches, tear up membership tickets or dump manure than support their team.
He was appreciated while he was with us and was part of our most successful season of this decade. He played in a preliminary final with us. Geelong are yet to do any better than that. And did Geelong appreciate him in his early days with the club? "Leave him alone, all of you". Sound familiar?

I guess if Ottens stayed at the Tigers, you'd have got your wish of never seeing him win a premiership.
We'll never know now will we.

I already conceded that I'd feel the same about Browny if I was a dogs supporter. And Colbert if I was Geelong. Ottens also had a serious injury and we supported him through that.

Just found this quote from Miller in July 2004 (a few months before Ottens demanded a trade):

“We put a new deal to Brad last year, so that he wouldn’t come out of contract – and I admire his answer. He felt that he’s been paid on potential for too long and that he had to get the runs on the board. He wants to play for Richmond his whole career and he wants to be measured on his performances – not on potential. And, I admired him for the stance he took last year. And, that’s how the discussions (on a new contract for him) have been going...Brad’s very much part of our future. You could say Brad has been a bit inconsistent this year. He’s had some good games, and some good quarters and good halves. I also think he’s been a little bit restricted, too. He’s not quite back to the agility that he had prior to his back operation. But I think he’s improving in that area and I believe he’ll be an even better player next year.”

Of course! After we used a high draft pick on him, invested time and money into his development and then just when he reaches the age where we should see some return on our investment, he abandons ship.

Totally ridiculous.

When he came to Geelong he wasn't even in the top 30 for fitness, nor was he in the same group when compared to overall ability.

So much for the Richmond system.

'Massive'? He ran into him and an off-balance Firrito fell over. Worthy of a free-kick, sure. But a report?

Was totally soft. I cannot believe that it is a report.

If a guy like Buchanan can get off with a reprimand from a ridiculously late head high hit, I severly doubt that Otto will go for a fairly on the spot hit that had no serious intent.

Off without penalty.

So he wasn't as fit as he should have been. How does that make it ridiculous? We still paid him shitloads of money and nursed him through a major injury only for him to under-perform and then demand a trade.

I saw it, it was a decent bump but slightly late. Surprised he got reported.
Shouldn't go far.

Note to The Ranger: Your views and comments are welcome. Don't know why some people want to hang shit on othet teams & supporters all the time. There's too much nastiness in the world.:(
Otto was a big loss to the Tigers, and a Big gain to the Cats, although it's taken a while for him to start delivering.

That's rubbish - you never nursed him through a major injury; you made him keep playing with it and then loudly wondered why his AA form was eluding him. We, on the other hand, picked him up out of that spiral, got him the necessary medical treatment and, more importantly, the time required for him to get right and now, we have the classiest big man in the competition. Figure it out, loser! And piss off from our site!

It's not your site. I'm not trolling and I wasn't being rude to anyone, so I have as much right to post here as you do.

To the sensible Cats, best of luck. Hope this is the year for you guys.

To the idiots...you have gingivitis and pubic lice and your mother dresses you funny.

NOW I'm being rude and you can eject me if you wish.

Now part of that reply is rude mate, and damn funny as well. :thumbsu:

Best to just ignore certain comments, think you'll find most posters here pretty easy to get along with if you're not just stirring, and after reading your posts I can't find anything there that a lot of Geelong supporters wouldn't be saying about a certain ex Cat if he was in the same position that Ottens is in at the moment.
