Ottens to North?

Media speculation has North looking closely at Ottens.

What would be enough to satisfy the faithful??

Would pick 10 and a player such as Sinclair be enough to get the big man over the line???

I'd be reluctant to trade Sinclair, but pick 10 is up for grabs considering we have got a top 5 prospect under the father/son this year.

I just hope we stay firm and offer only what we can afford. If we miss out, then bad luck.

Any side that has the untouchable mentality will just get the 'see you later' from Miller. Clubs need to realise that if they want Ottens then they will need to part with a player in thier untouchable category otherwise we just move on to another suitor.

thats all well and good but we cant get too arrogant otherwise Ottens could walk for nothing. I personally would hate the RFC to waste their 1st pick in the preseason draft to pick him up and pay him an amount to what Ottens requires.

wouldnt happen imo. if a trade is not made the tigers will offer him a slightly better deal, then watch him re-sign.

you could almost read it like whatever is said the opposite is true. thompson saying we arent going to try too hard = we are desperate for him, sydney saying they will wait and see = we will pop a hernia to get him to us. maybe. the only club showing thier true hand is the roos. heck they may not even be interested really, just a favour for an old friend milller

my point is, just because something is said in the media doesnt make it true. this is like a game of poker. smoke and mirrors, and bluffing gallore.
