Our depth...

He wasn't traded by WCE and swans because he was awesome. He's serviceable, when fit, but lacks a hell of a lot of polish. Best position is down back, but if he had to hold down a key post without at least two of lake/Gibson/Frawley he'd struggle massively.

As it stands Spang averages about 7 games a year with the 15 in 2014 being a career high.
We can't rely on someone with those sort of durability issues he is depth at this point.
That doesn't mean he couldn't end the year with another medal but I'm sure the club will give Brand the first shot.

So

Lake, hale, suckling, roughead, shiels, now Hill.

Lost one of each type where there is cover. Not sure the next could be covered as easily

Agree
Lithers for Lake
Ceglar for Hale
Howe for Suckling
Sicily for Roughead
Langford for Shiels
Hartung for Hill
The above is ok, but JOR, WhiteX, others not ready or not quite Premiership standard.
2016 is the most shallow list we have had in 3 - 4 years.

I'm positively rosy about depth.
Why? Because Clarko seems genuinely excited by the prospect of bringing in new talent, creating the next wave to take the club forward. Says Hawthorn football club embraces change.
So I do too.....even if it leads to uneven performances and a 5-6th place on the ladder.
The future is now, lets rip into them Hawks!!!!
