I met Jack at the Rookie club function prior to round 1,

He was most pleasant and we chatted at length about his Coburg games thus far, his purple Kombie, surfing and if he was getting homesick.

He was in no way up himself or big headed.

I thought he was a good bloke in all honesty.

i went one preseason training session, i was sitting tambo(from bigfooty) and jack walked up to us and started chatting, i think rombosghost is the sulk

Did you need to race home and tell everyone about it? All this does in puts a negative cloud above a kid that from most accounts is a pleasure to talk to. I know you felt like you had some kind of inside scoop but everyone gets the shits now and then, should've kept it to yourself.

After the Coburg game last Saturday I happened to meet the guy that everyone is raving about. I was hoping to say G'day and get a couple of things autographed. I found this so-called "superstar" to be very sulky and generally unfriendly. He needs to realise that he hasn't "made it" as yet and a friendly personality towards fans would not go astray. I decided not to ask him to sign anything and sought out another player instead who was more than accomodating. It kind of took the wind out of my sails a little.

he is a confident kid and that is one of his attributes on the field. an insider at the club has said that he is a future leader of the club. romosghost u didnt need to give jack a bad image

actually i reckon our young boys are some of the best blokes to have a chat with actually. regularly see them out on the town and all are just really happy to be out together having a good time. in my eyes this is great cos it means they actually like each other and enjoy each others company which is vital for premiership sucess
