Ok have encountered my first problem..........

Outlook Express that has come with XP on this new pc...........I can't get it to save the passwords for the email accounts......

I have gone thru and checked all the save password options, but still no joy.

Any ideas?

when you set up your account, make sure when you get to the username and password section that the 'Save Password' check box has a tick in it!

If that doersn't work then I'll be damned if I know! ;)

Thanks for that CJ, here is my problem...........

When I go thru the accounts option, it won't let me type in a password unless I first check that same box below the password box. Then once I do that, it remembers the password as long as I have the program open.

Once I close it and re-open it, it is a different matter. Even if I go back to the accounts option the 'remember password' box is still checked, but the actual password box is blank (not like previously when it would have asterix's in it) and when I hit send/recieve, it prompts me to enter the passwords again and again, and in 'shadow' form has the 'remember password' box checked on that small screen too.

It is sooooooooooo frustrating.
