What they've done is pitch a business class service at a small but significant price above economy. Qantas can't come down too far or they start canabalising JetStar as their economy prices would have to drop accordingly.

Good niche if they can hold their ground.

Stupid name though. It's a pet hate of mine when people prefix their business name with "Oz" or "Aus". It's often redundant and basically tacky.

I wouldn't buy shares in them, but I would certainly consider it for domestic travel within Australia. Probably not for short trips like Melbourne - Sydney though.

I suspect with the high costs (ie fuel) and cut throat competition in the industry as it at the moment that may be good advice.

They have ceased operations as of Monday morning 13th March- they will operate as a charter operator.
